This book wasn’t what I expected. You have to understand, I’m practically allergic to self help books. They absolutely bore me to tears, and I can’t get through them no matter how much I want the information contained within their pages. But this one is different!

It reads like a light novel. Each section highlights a different concept, which is put forth through the experience of a woman pulling herself out of crisis to discover her creative passion and needs. The suggestions on how to identify and pursue one’s creative passions were insightful. As I read, I found myself thinking of my own creative passions, and how I might implement some of the ideas set forth in this story.

The story itself flowed well. I read the book in only two sittings, ignoring other tasks because I was hooked. There were very minimal grammatical errors, and none distracted from the content. I’m simply one of those people who notices those things.

I’d encourage anyone to read this book. I suspect I’ll read it again at a later date, and I’ll probably incorporate some of the ideas into my own life. K received a free copy if this book in exchange for my honest review.
